BMT proudly celebrates its highest monthly record ever 34,978 containers, the equivalent of 61,732 TEU, a number that was achieved during October is the highest since the commencement of terminal operations in Iraq at Umm Qasr port.This record reflects the continuous growth of BMT and the excellent collaborations and efforts by all teams to provide customers with the highest level of service.

#BMT has raised the bar further:BMT is now and on a weekly basis, handling not only one but two Heavy Load Carriers (HLCs) for the Basra Refinery Upgrade Project. Thanks to its flawless planning and meticulous execution at the earlier stages of the project, it is the new upgraded routine to handle HLCs that no other Terminal can in Iraq.BMT collaborates closely with its clients to address their requirements with the optimal handling solutions for every type of cargo.Its unique capabilities facilitate the logistics plans of its clients to execute safe and more efficient operations with reduced port handling times, opening paths for faster completion of their projects.Stay tuned for more of us.

BMT has extended its unique capabilities with another record at Umm Qasr Port.BMT handled 3 Heavy Load carriers (HLCs) on its new berths and managed to serve two of these HLCs concurrently; thanks to meticulous planning and flawless execution of all BMT stakeholders. Thus, BMT became the first terminal to handle such types of vessels simultaneously.The cargoes have not only been marked as the heaviest modules ever serviced in Iraq but also have become the tallest ones reaching up to 15 meters in height. BMT shall continue to serve its clients and Iraq with the best service as usual.Stay tuned for more from us.
