In order for a major law firm to offer its clients financing (lending) support, the firm now needs to field two separate but equal financing teams: one offering the traditional financing route through the banks and hedge funds; and the second through any number of private credit means available.Partners at major banks in charge of these groups report that staffing these teams adequately is very expensive, both when measured by attorney and by dollars.
