She was inspired to find an alternative to all of the plastic waste making its way into the ocean every year. In 2013, she teamed up with Sean Grundy and Frank Lee to create Bevi. Unbottle the Future:Bevi exists to make the beverage industry environmentally sustainable. We do this by serving high-quality beverages on tap, cutting out the need for single-use bottles and cans—and thereby eliminating the pollution from the creation and disposal of those single-use containers. You might not know what #remanufacturing is. That’s OK—but what you should know is that the problems "remanners" are working to solve are challenges all businesses will face as circularity becomes the norm, rather than the exception. Reverse logistics, disassembly, testing and inspection of used products, cleaning, and more will all be standards as production becomes more circular. That's what I think is so unique and important about this conference.
