The second Grand Slam of the year is officially here, and the best tennis players from the ATP and WTA tours are duking it out on the courts of Roland-Garros in Paris. We'll show you everything you need to know about how to watch the French Open live streams, including multiple free options.
All the top-ranked players in the ATP and WTA are scheduled to participate despite several recent injury scares across the ATP. Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, and 2023 French Open champion Novak Djokovic are taking part, as are Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, and 2023 French Open champion Iga Świątek. This competition follows January's Australian Open and precedes the summer Wimbledon and US Open slams - we'll be able to help you watch those for free, too. Sinner and Sabalenka won their respective competitions at the Australian Open, so they're looking to inch closer to Career Grand Slam status - Swiatek is in scintillating form right now, though.
There haven't been any major upsets so far in round one, although Rafa Nadal's return to Grand Slam action was cut short via an unlucky draw against an in-form Alexander Zverev. Rafa looked better than he has in years, though, so fingers crossed for seeing more of him this season. Naomi Osaka is another player talented player starting from an unseeded position after being off the tour for a while, and as such, will face world number one, Iga Swiatek, tomorrow in the second round.
Since this is a Grand Slam, coverage is abundant throughout several countries. We'll show you how to tune in from anywhere via free live streams. How to watch the French Open in the US
The French Open will air across NBC, Peaco*ck, and the Tennis Channel in the US. The first round will be broadcast on Sunday and Monday. On Sunday, coverage will air on the Tennis Channel from 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET. You can also catch the competition on Peaco*ck from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET. On Monday, the Tennis Channel will only have coverage from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET. NBC will broadcast from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET, and Peaco*ck will live stream from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET.
We'll update this with future viewing options as the competition progresses, but you will only ever need NBC, Peaco*ck, and the Tennis Channel to watch the entire competition in the US. Fortunately for cord-cutters, you'll only need to invest in two streaming services to get in on all of the action. Sling TV, with the help of an add-on, should be able to get you access to NBC and the Tennis Channel. You'll need to select a Sling Blue base plan for NBC (although you should always double-check to ensure it's available in your area) and then select the Sports Extra add-on for the Tennis Channel. Sling Blue costs $40 a month, and Sports Extra costs $11 a month, so you'll pay $51 a month for this service.

How to watch the French Open in Australia
The French Open live streams on 9Now in Australia. This free English-language streaming option just requires account creation. Coverage is excellent on this network and makes for a great pairing for a VPN if you're not in Australia right now but would like to keep watching. A VPN is also much cheaper than the US streaming services mentioned earlier.
9Now doesn't carry every match, but the deeper we get into the tournament, you can expect more of the big matches to be shown here. If you want total access, you'll have to fork out for a Stan subscription, plus the Sports add-on.

How to watch the French Open in France
In France, the French Open will live stream for free on France TV. You just need to create an account, and then you'll be ready to watch. Match selection is limited to a few courts at once, but expect the big names to appear regularly.
How to watch the French Open in Austria
Servus TV is the Austrian home of French Open coverage. These live streams are free, and the service requires no log-in or account creation. Servus also has every other F1 race throughout the season (ORF1, also free, has the others and is also accessible from overseas via a VPN).
How to watch the French Open from anywhere
