Happy Together 2024 Tour Opens With Parade of '60s Hits - Best Classic Bands (1)The 14th edition lineup of the popular tour of ’60s pop music acts, known as the Happy Together tour, has begun its 2024 run with the first several shows of what will ultimately be 50 concerts. The tour is named, of course, for the Turtles’ big hit that reached #1 on March 25, 1967. The new edition began on May 31 and continues into early September. See the itinerary and performances from its lineup below.

The Turtles continue as the signature headliners, but with the voice of the Archies, Ron Dante, again joining Turtles founding member and singer Mark Volman. (Fellow Turtles founder, Howard Kaylan, hasn’t participated for several years.)

The rest of the 2024 lineup: Jay and the Americans, the Association, Badfinger featuring Joey Molland, the Vogues, and The Cowsills. Together, they represent dozens of Top 10 radio hits.

The Turtles have sold over 40 million records worldwide. Their hits include: “Happy Together,” “She’d Rather Be With Me,” “Elenore,” “It Ain’t Me Babe” and “You Showed Me.”

Jay and the Americans earned success throughout the ’60s with such catchy hit singles as “This Magic Moment,” “Cara Mia” and “Come a Little Bit Closer.” Their longtime lead vocalist, Jay Black, died in 2021.

The Association, known for such acclaimed hits as “Cherish,” “Windy” and “Never My Love,” return to the tour in 2024.
