Roast Your Marshmallows
No Fire? No Problem!
If no campfire is available, you can still enjoy delicious S’mores by roasting marshmallows in your oven, toaster oven, microwave, or air fryer. Follow the directions below.
Ghirardelli Classic S’more Recipe
Yields:
- 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet Honey Graham Cracker, broken into 2 squares
- 1 Plain or Vanilla Marshmallow
- 1 Ghirardelli Chocolate Square
Oven Directions:
1. Place oven rack in the top third of the oven. Preheat oven to broil. Line a sheet pan with foil.
2. Place one square of graham cracker on sheet pan, place marshmallow on top of cracker.
3. Broil for 1 minutes, until marshmallow is lightly toasted.
4. Remove from oven, and place one square of Ghirardelli Chocolate on top of toasted marshmallow. Return sheet pan to broiler for 15 seconds.
5. Remove from oven and top with remaining square of graham cracker.
Toaster Oven Directions:
1. Preheat toaster oven to broil. Line a sheet pan with foil.
2. Place one square of graham cracker on sheet pan, place marshmallow on top of cracker.
3. Broil for 1-2 minutes, until marshmallow is lightly toasted.
4. Remove from oven, and place one square of Ghirardelli Chocolate on top of toasted marshmallow. Return sheet pan to broiler for 15 seconds.
5. Remove from oven and top with remaining square of graham cracker.
Microwave Directions:
1. Place one square of graham cracker on microwave safe plate.
2. Place Ghirardelli Chocolate Square on top of graham cracker and marshmallow on top of chocolate.
3. Microwave for 15-20 seconds, until marshmallow is slightly puffed, and chocolate is just beginning to soften.
4. Remove from microwave and top with remaining square of graham cracker.
Air Fryer Directions:
1. Place one square of graham cracker in air fryer basket or tray. Place marshmallow on top of graham cracker.
2. Air fry at 360F for 1-2 minutes or until marshmallow is lightly toasted.
3. Remove from air fryer, and place one square of Ghirardelli Chocolate on top of toasted marshmallow and top with graham cracker.
Grill or Campfire Directions:
1. Place marshmallow onto a skewer, lightly toast over a campfire or flame of a grill until golden brown.
2. Sandwich the toasted marshmallow and Ghirardelli Chocolate Square between graham crackers.
